Vancouver is not used to this much snow. I think we got at least a foot overnight.

Here in northwestern Quebec we call that a normal Tuesday.
In winter I have to plow my yard almost ever other day. Which I ’m going to go do after I eat supper. This weekend I have to do the roof of the house and the garage.

Yeah, here everyone loses their minds over an inch. This much is enough to practically shut all of Metro Vancouver down. It’s pretty entertaining

You've got more snow than we have here (Lethbridge).

Now imagine that in Georgia. I survived 3 inches of “ snowpocalypse” a few ears ago, but just barely. I was one of the lucky ones who made it home after a short walk.

Every winter I end up missing my 2001 Outback. She was a proper battle wagon and with the rear limited slip went anywhere. By far the most capable car I have ever owned. Get a bit of snow, stick the transmission in 1 or 2 to lock the center diff at 50:50 and she would power oversteer for days.

Chinooks came and melted it all, then a little fell as the temperature dropped. When it gets this cold, it usually doesn't snow much.
